Trinity's Christmas Lunch 2007

She was just a baby when we celebrated her two Christmases at Singapore. She didn’t understand what was going on. This year is the beginning of her excitement about the Christmas. She was looking forward to it. She was a good girl about her presents under the Christmas tree as well. She didn’t open them because she knew that the right time will come for it. When the day arrived she was so thrilled about everything. We had lunch at the Grand Hyatt hotel, Jakarta. There she met Santa Claus and she was given a teddy bear. She was singing and dancing to the live music. She enjoyed every moment of it the food is included of course.

Her Christmas 2007

Trinity had more than 20 Christmas presents this year 2007. She got tired opening all of it so her Daddy did the rest.

First Decoration!

This is Trinity’s third Christmas and her first time to decorate our Christmas tree. She was in charge of putting the teddy bears in the tree but I don’t understand why until now the bears are still everywhere. One of them is hidden in her armpit as you can see in the first photo. Well, whether the bears are in the tree or not I am still glad that I can celebrate this important celebration with her and my husband.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!

Grace

We went to shop this afternoon to get Trinity warm clothes to wear to the airport next week. I got her denim jacket and pants with Cinderella embroidered on it. She decided she wants to wear the jacket while she checks all the toys in the shop. After an hour of checking she saw a small kitten that meows, wags its tail and walks like a baby. She said “oohhh she is so cute!” Trying so hard to distract her attention to other things like a nice and soft pillow, a beautiful bag from Minnie Mouse and her other favorite characters like the Princesses, Elmo and Dora, she was still hanging on the kitten. She adores Grace (that’s the name I have given to the kitten hehehe) so much. I had to buy it for her; I thought her Daddy would buy anything for her anyway. Anything that Trinity likes.

Do I have to say yes or no?

I heard screaming in excitement yesterday. Trinity was jumping and running around the house with our helper Mini. After 20 minutes I told her to have a rest and read her books (thanks for the new books Grandma and aunty Janice). She quickly asks me in her own language if she could instead play with her friends downstairs. This is how she looks like when she asked me that, "please Mummy?".

Natural Talent

This is what I told Trinity when she climbed on the table to investigate what I cooked, “I will take a photo of the food so try to pretend you like Mommy’s cooking”.
When I saw the photo in my digicam I decided to hire her as my model for my food blog hehehe.

Portable Video Player

I was on the plane with Trinity going to the Philippines, I was exhausted. Trinity didn’t like to stay in her seat and she keeps on jumping on my lap. The problem was that we can’t take a walk because the seat belt sign was still on. I was expecting that she will be sleeping because that was a midnight flight. The worse scenario was when I went to the toilet and let my parents look after Trinity. I found her on the floor lying and crying when I came out from the toilet. Obviously my parents were not able to do anything to control her. I brought some toys to distract her though but I guess she was too tired to pay attention to the toys. So, before we flew back to Singapore I bought her a portable video player. I also got a Barney VCD that has 8 collections of show, each show last for 30 to 45 minutes . And now we make sure we bring this portable player and the Barney CD if it is going to be a long journey for her.

Hair Salon

Trinity was scared of hair salons in Singapore. She would scream and cry if we stepped in the salon. But according to other mothers their child is the same, this is not true to other children of course. There is just something about hair salons that makes them afraid of it. But it is different this time; she suddenly didn’t mind hair trimming in the hands of stranger. I became her beautician for awhile but nobody was happy with what I did in Trinity’s hair. Now I am so happy that I can finally let the professionals take care of her hair. By the way, the guy on the photos is there to entertain her if Trinity gets bored.

Once upon a time....

Once upon a time there is Grandma and Trinity who loves each other. One afternoon, Grandma decided it's time to read her novel. She picked up her eyeglasses, her book and sat comfortably in the maroon chair. But alas, Trinity decided to copy her Grandma. She picked up her favorite book, picked up Mommy's sunglasses and sat on the empty maroon chair beside Grandma. They started chatting to each other and forgot the books.
The End!

Play.. play... play...

Trinity and I went for a play in the outdoor playground last Saturday. It was fun!

First GOLF CLUB

This is her first golf club! She likes golf so much that she even doesn’t like to share her plastic golf set. Daddy thinks it’s selfish but she shares her other toys though except for this one. She can play the whole day with it. I wonder if she will continue playing in the next month or years to come. Let’s wait and see.

Princess

Our helper told me one day that people always mistaken Trinity as a boy. I told my Mum in-law and she told Patrick (her Daddy) about it too. Her Daddy didn’t like what he heard so I went to the mall and got Trinity new set of clothes. I bought her 3 dresses and I forgot the rest hehehe… The one on the photos are just one of those clothes I bought for her. She calls herself a princess now although her Daddy has been calling her Princess since she was a baby.

The Fashion Model

The black dress that Trinity is wearing is my size 8 blouse. I was once size 8 but now…. Never mind. The blue top is my costume when I was still a young and active band vocalist (sigh). Trinity has different colors of hair clips and I paired it according to the color of her attire. These are the facial expressions we require from this fashion model and she was a pro!

What is the news today?

She is reading Today newspaper in our apartment in Singapore. This paper is free and we get our copy from the SMRT station. I wonder if she understands what she is reading though.

toilet seat

The bag that Trinity is carrying is a portable and foldable toilet seat. This is perfect for her if we are outside and she wants to use the toilet. I found this amazing toilet seat in Senayan City for only Rupiah 120,000 or around US$15. It is called Tommee Tippee "toodle-loo" and is made in UK.

Dutch girl

Her Grandma said she looks like a Dutch girl with this cute red cap we saw in Carrefour. But I thought she still looks like a Chinese girl. Oh well, we are all confused. What do you think?
